Our Group Learning Experience

Offering a hybrid approach to Mentorship.

Each Growth POD is designed to be a unique learning experience centered around a key topic. We seek to bring a unique balance to your experience which is why we will alternate between One On One and group oriented sessions every other week and offer tailored focus to help you grow.

Power Of The Group Session

This is not your typical classroom experience

 

We are not creating a canned multi week curriculum with short videos for you to follow. Our goal is to elevate the skillsets of you the Mentee, keeping you motivated and growing each week through a vibrant mix of alternating One On One and Group sessions.

During the Group sessions the Mentor will provide live workflow demonstrations as well as host a group critique session where the Mentor and Mentees can offer input and motivate each other in a safe and respectful manner.

So bring your projects and your files and lets get started making great art together!

 

Focused Topics

Each Growth POD will be focused around a topic chosen by the Mentor

 

We do this so everyone in the Growth POD can rally around a the same topic for 12 weeks. With a clear topic in mind you can start preparing your goals, gathering reference, and begin working before the first call.

There’s a twist here, the same focused topics won’t ever run back to back. So make sure to grab a spot and not miss out!

 

Tailored Learning

Limited to 3 Mentees Per Growth Pod

 

Alongside up to 2 other Mentees you will be attached to a mentor for 12 weeks of Mentorship and learning.

In addition to the alternating One On One and group sessions, you will have both a Growth POD Notebook and a dedicated private Discord channel where you can interact with your Growth POD by sharing your work and pushing each other to elevate your skillsets.

Tailored Learning Experience

We bring a personalized approach to each Growth POD through a mix of One On One and Group sessions featuring hands on training and live demonstrations.

Growth POD Notebook

Each session update your Growth POD Notebook! Great for asking your Mentor questions, getting feedback, and sharing files / resources.

Flexible Meetings

Work with your Mentor to schedule a time that works for your One On One sessions. Not sure if it can work? We have worked with Mentees from all over the world.

Industry Workflows

You will learn and explore workflow concepts, tools, and techniques used in AAA games to create high quality content for your portfolio.

Private Discord Community

Each Growth POD will have a private section in our Discord community to communicate and share work. Also includes lifetime access to our Discord community.

Elevate Your Skillset

We work with developers / artists of all skill levels. Whether you are looking for foundational knowledge or a high end tune up, we are here to help. Hit us up.

Additional Notes

 
  • How and when am I charged?

    You are charged when you buy the Growth POD pre order is released. See the Gumroad product for additional information.

  • Will you build my project for me?

    No! We help guide you and provide technical assistance where needed. You are expected to put in the work during the week and we level you up during the One On One calls.

  • Does The Mentor Coalition Supply Software?

    No. You are expected to supply your software. Each Mentor will list specific software they work with.

  • What Happens When I Sign Up?

    You are introduced to your Mentor and sent a short questionare via email. From there you will work with your Mentor to set up timeslots to meet and discuss goals / plans for the Growth POD.

  • How Do The Calls Take Place?

    Calls will take place through Discord or a similar platform that has quality voice and screen sharing options. Web cams are not required.

  • How Do I get Feedback?

    In addition to the One On One and Group calls with your Mentor, we provide a Growth POD Notebook as well as exclusive access to our Discord Community.

  • Is There A Curriculum?

    Because our Memberships are built around helping you, there is no premade curriculum. Each session focus on growing you and your goals within the focused topic.

  • Is Discord Access Lifetime?

    Yes! Absolutely. You dont lose access if you cancel your Membership. We want you to be part of the community and we are excited to see your journey!
