Mentorship Info
In this Mentorship, the artist will be guided in the approach to environment and asset creation for games. To start with we will assess your current skill set and what your goals are. From there we can begin making an action plan moving forward and depending on these goals we may cover a variety of topics that will cover industry standard workflows and techniques including but not limited to modelling, texturing, materials, sculpting, foliage creation, lighting, composition, and the technical aspects of environment art in games.
By the end of the Mentorship, Kem will have assisted in pushing the artist in the right direction with regards to the initial goals set out. The mentorship is designed to help deepen your eye for detail and assist in pushing you in the right direction with regard to the initial goals set out, providing a clear path for continued growth and success in your career.

Kem Yaralioglu | Expert Environment Artist
Kem Yaralioglu is an Expert Environment Artist currently working at Netease Games Montreal on AAA Stylized project. Kem has worked in the games industry for 7 years at various studios, and also has experience as a freelancer and mentor. Previous titles include Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Sea of Thieves, Everwild, Rainbow Six Siege, Elite Dangerous and Memoria Project. Kem has a clear passion for stylized environment art creation that communicates storytelling and enhances gameplay. Throughout his career and multiple projects, Kem has touched various aspects of environment art, and specialized in level art, world building, sculpting, foliage creation and more. His experience in taking blockout levels to finished environments on multiple projects makes him a perfect candidate to be your mentor in teaching you how to take your blockout to a finished piece.
