The career coaching mentorship helped me to be more engaged in interviews. We practiced a couple of scenarios, which gave me a broaght overview of what the recruiters might ask. In the end of the coarse I found it a lot easier to talk about myself and be more convident during those conversations. Josh is a very humble and genuine guy who is there for you. You have the opportunity to absolutely fail and learn from your mistakes when talking to him. His advice helped me throughout the months to prepare my portfolio and apply successfully for a job as a material artist. Thanks Josh Lynch.

I just recently completed my Career Mentorship with Josh, and I'm so happy that I made the decision to do it. It felt so good to openly and candidly discuss my career goals and aspirations as an artist trying to get into the industry, as well as strategies and ways of thinking about my career going forward. Aside from great and thoughtful conversations, I also levelled up the way I present myself as an artist, especially online. I feel so much more comfortable putting myself out there after going over my Portfolio, Cover letter, Resume, and personal brand in depth with Josh. I also have to give him immense thanks for helping me realize how to push my most recent piece to the next level. The week of our final voice call, I accepted my first ever position as a game artist at a nearby indie studio, and Josh was an invaluable resource of experience and advice on what to expect and how to mentally prepare for this next chapter in my career. Thanks a ton Josh Lynch!

I was recently laid off, looking for work, and having little luck in my search. I was still creating content for my portfolio, but it was lacking a certain professionalism that (I felt) was keeping companies from taking my application seriously. That's when I decided to invest in taking Josh's Career Coaching. With Josh's help, we were able to identify my creative and professional weak points. We did an overhaul of my Artstation and resume and within that very week, my average page views and likes on my work increased significantly. We tackled a lot of issues that I had no clue how to even approach (art tests, interview questions, portfolio reviews, etc). Josh was very knowledgeable and I certainly felt as though I could ask him anything. Two weeks after completing my Mentorship with Josh, I received my first offer as an Associate Environment Artist at a studio that I'd applied for. Words cannot express how grateful I am for the direction I received and to have made that investment. Thank you so much, Mentor Coalition!

Yesterday I finished up my Career Coaching Mentorship with Josh Lynch. With Josh's help, we were able to identify and tackle issues on my Resume and Cover Letter that I didn't feel quite confident in. He also showed me a lot of tips and tricks for figuring out what to say to recruiters once you've applied, how to stand out in your portfolio, brand logo, and tons of really tough interview questions and clever answers for them that'll make you stand out above the rest. Josh is a super knowledgeable and clever guy, and I'm glad I had the pleasure of being his mentee! I feel like I'm so much more prepared than before, and I'm sure with a bit more experience in interviews in the (hopefully) near future, I'll definitely be a lot better at tackling them. Thanks a lot, Josh! I recommend this to anyone having trouble with career coaching, it's well worth the money and will probably also be well worth the money to get any of the other Mentorships that are being offered!

Josh is the teacher that I have always wanted. Someone who is not only a master at their craft, actively working in the field, but also a seriously insightful person, with the most approachable personality you could ask for. By the time our second week rolled around, I felt as if I was talking to someone I had known for years, allowing me to feel comfortable with making mistakes and learn from them with zero judgment. One of my favorite aspects was my responsibility to bring the topics to the table each week. Josh suggested certain topics to cover, but I was the one who had to show curiosity and ask questions about developing a career. The fact that Josh was real about his feedback and experience with every topic is nothing short of invaluable. He was never short about his answers, always filling in personal experience with objective technical knowledge.

Everyone who is serious about what they do, I would heavily recommend you take this mentorship at least once.
